The SME staff training workshop SOLAR POWER PLANTS: TESTING, DOCUMENTATION, ECONOMY, SUPPORT was organised by Applied Research Institute for Prospective Technologies (ProTech) as a part of WP4 and took place on 31st of July 2020 in Vilnius, Lithuania. The workshop was attended by 20 participants, including SME staff members and members from project partner organisations. The aim of the workshop was to provide information to the SME staff on solar power plant installation documentation, to overview the efficiency measurements and testing possibilities of solar plants and photovoltaic modules, to inform about developing and testing new electronics products (new voltage converters (inverters) and generation optimizers for solar power plants in the Lithuanian market) to meet international standards, and to briefly inform about SMEs testing capabilities in the region and how to use the TEST-4-SME network services to find the most suitable testing facilities. The modernization possibilities of an apartment house to the full supply of renewable energy were discussed. Business and development topics were also touched, as the legal and technical development aspects of the solar energetics in the region were overviewed.
