Laboratory staff training in Vilnius

Training of laboratory staff was held on 6-7 November in Applied Research Institute for Prospective Technologies (ProTech), Vilnius, Lithuania. Project partners informed participants about working agreements with regional laboratories and mapping of the laboratory equipment. Specialists from Center of Physical Sciences and Technology introduced with basics of metrology and quality assurance and evaluation of uncertainty of measurements. First day of training ended with ProTech demonstration of solar module testing: live experiment and evaluation of uncertainty of measurement result.

Second day of meeting was devoted for team building activity and testing challenge, visit to ProTech and MET laboratories and facilities and Test-4-SME project meeting. Laboratory staff training ended with visit to Time&Frequency Laboratory of the Center for Physical Sciences and Technology. Next year laboratory staff training will be held in Tartu, Estonia.
